COVID-19: Ghana Health Service declares 17 patients as fully recovered

Dr. Patrick Aboagye, the Director-General Of the Ghana Health Service, has announced the recovery of 17 COVID-19 patients. 

Speaking to the public at the Information Ministry’s Press briefing, Dr. Aboagye disclosed that 17 patients suffering from the COVID-19 have fully recovered. The 17 patients have tested negative twice thus declaring them clinically free. 

He also disclosed that 66 out of 83 patients in the recovery stage have tested negative in the first test. Dr. Aboagye also revealed that 208 out of the 566 confirmed cases are in a mild condition and are being treated at home and isolation centers across the nation. 

This revelation brings a spark of hope to Ghanaians amidst the increasing number of confirmed cases over the week
