Beware Of Fake COVID-19 Drugs” FDA warns.

The Food and Drugs Authority Of Ghana (FDA) has come out to warn against fake coronavirus drugs. 

The agency which is responsible for public health and safety advised the populace to stay away from any medicine that claims to detect, cure or prevent the novel coronavirus. The need for this warning according to them arose from the numerous fake claims of a solution to the virus. 

According to a press release signed by Mrs. Dede A. Darko the Chief Executive Officer Of the board, all drugs including the in-vitro diagnostic which claims to detect, and cure the virus are all fake. The public was also assured of the steadfastness of the FDA in working to ensure that such fake supplements, test kits, and others do not enter the Ghanaian market. 

The populace was further advised to practice social distancing, regular hand washing, staying at home and all other preventive measures suggested by the FDA earlier on.
