Popular Ghanaian actor, Kweku Menu has revealed that Ghana’s educational system does not enhance talent.
Speaking on a radio program hosted by Amansan Kyrake on GBC central radio, the actor disclosed that the current educational system in the country only prepares youngsters to fit into the job market rather. According to him, he believes that education is very important yet the structure currently is not something to write about.
Kwaku Menu also highlighted the fact that most people in schools right now are not studying subjects that they find interesting. He continued by encouraging parents to allow their wards to select subjects and courses based on their own passion and talent.
He compared Ghana’s educational system to learning for a driver’s license; where people are taught thousands of road signs that are hardly seen on a typical Ghanaian road.
Do you think Ghana’s educational system really has a problem?
